Salty bites with pâté
Ingredients:
250 g Tandem pâté,
1 pack of thawed puff pastry,
1 beaten egg,
6 tbsp. sour cream,
250 g cream cheese,
2 pcs. grated pickles,
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley,
125 g olive paste.
Preparation: Heat the oven to 220°C. Spread the dough and cut circles out using cookie cutters. Cut the circles by sharply pressing the dough with the cutter so the edges don’t get flattened. Arrange the cut pieces at a distance in a tray, coat with the beaten egg on top and bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven until puffy.
Prepare the three fillings: beat the pâté with 3 tbsp. cream and the grated cucumbers until you achieve a uniform mix. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese, parsley and the remaining cream. The olive paste is sold as a ready-made product, but it can also be prepared by blending pitted olives with some olive oil. After the baking, divide the bites into two, grease the lower part with one type of filling and place the upper part on top.
Arrange the bites in a beautiful plate and serve.
